Accommodation Terms of Use

  1. (Scope of application):

    1. Accommodation contracts concluded between the hotel and guests and any related agreements shall be governed by these terms; any matters not provided for herein shall be governed by applicable laws or generally established customs.
    2. If the hotel agrees to a special condition that does not contradict laws or customs, that special condition shall take precedence over the preceding paragraph.
  2. (Application for accommodation contract):

    1. A person who wishes to apply for an accommodation contract must notify the hotel of the following: (a) name of the guest, (b) stay date and expected arrival time, (c) accommodation charges (based on the hotel's standard rates), and (d) any other information the hotel deems necessary.
    2. If a guest requests to extend their stay beyond the date in (b), the hotel will treat it as a new accommodation application from the time the request is made.
    3. For reservations made via the Logos Land reservation site, you must use the online reservation form; applications by any other method may not be accepted.
    4. If required fields are left blank or the information provided is incorrect, the reservation may become invalid.
  3. (Formation of the accommodation contract, etc.):

    1. The accommodation contract is formed when the hotel accepts the application from the previous article.
    2. The hotel will send a "reservation confirmation email" containing the reservation number to the email address specified by the member to confirm the reservation. However, even if the member does not receive the email due to communication issues or an incorrect email address, this will not affect the validity of the reservation.
    3. Upon formation of the contract, the hotel may require a deposit (up to the amount of the basic accommodation fee) to be paid by a specified date.
    4. The deposit will first be applied toward the basic accommodation fee; if the circumstances of Article 6 or 18 arise (triggering cancellation), it will then be applied to the penalty and then to damages (in that order); any remainder will be refunded when paying the fee under Article 12.
    5. If the deposit under (3) is not paid by the specified date, the accommodation contract will lose its validity, provided that the hotel had informed the guest of the payment due date.
  4. (Special contract waiving deposit):

    1. Notwithstanding the previous article, the hotel may agree, after the contract is formed, to a special condition that waives the deposit requirement.
    2. If, when accepting the application, the hotel does not demand the deposit or set a deposit payment date, this will be treated as the hotel having agreed to the special condition in the preceding paragraph.
  5. (Refusal to conclude contract):

The hotel may refuse to enter into an accommodation contract under any of the following conditions:

    1. The application is made in a manner not in accordance with these terms.
    2. All rooms are fully occupied.
    3. The applicant is likely to engage in conduct during the stay that violates laws, public order, or good morals.
    4. The applicant is a member, affiliate, or related person of a criminal syndicate or any other anti-social force.
    5. The applicant represents a corporation controlled by a criminal syndicate.
    6. The applicant has behaved in a way that substantially disturbs other guests.
    7. The applicant forces unreasonable demands on the facility or staff (or has done so in the past).
    8. The applicant is clearly infected with a contagious disease.
    9. Natural disasters, facility breakdown, or other unavoidable reasons prevent accommodation.
    10. The applicant is so intoxicated as to disturb other guests.
  6. (Guest's right to cancel):

    1. The guest may cancel the accommodation contract by notifying the hotel.
    2. If the guest cancels for a reason attributable to the guest (except when canceling before paying the required deposit), the hotel may charge a penalty according to Appendix 1.
    3. (3) If the guest does not arrive by 10:00 PM on the day of stay (or by midnight if an arrival time was specified, plus two hours), the hotel may treat the contract as having been canceled by the guest.
  7. (Hotel's right to cancel):

The hotel may cancel the accommodation contract in cases such as:

    1. A person other than the registered guest uses the room.
    2. The guest fails to pay as required by Article 12(2).

  8. (Registration):

    1. On the day of stay, the guest must register at the hotel front desk with the following information: name, age, gender, address, and occupation. For foreign guests, also nationality, passport number, place and date of entry.
    2. If the guest intends to pay accommodation charges (Article 12) by means other than cash (e.g. traveler's check, voucher, credit card), they must present such means at the time of registration.
  9. (Room usage hours):

    1. Guests may use their room from 3:00 PM on the arrival date until 10:00 AM the next morning. However, for consecutive nights, the guest may use the room all day except on the arrival and departure dates.
    2. Notwithstanding the above, the hotel may allow use outside these hours for an additional fee. From check-out until 3:00 PM, an extra charge of ¥1,000 per hour per room will apply; after 3:00 PM, a full night's room rate is added on top of the above charge. If no rooms are available, such extension may be refused.
  10. (House rules):

Guests must comply with the hotel's established house rules while on the premises.

  11. (Operating hours):

    1. The operating hours for hotel facilities are announced via the official website, in-house pamphlets, posted notices, in-room directory, etc..
    2. These hours may be temporarily changed if necessary; the hotel will give notice by appropriate means if this occurs.
  12. (Payment of charges):

    1. The breakdown of accommodation charges to be paid by the guest is as per the hotel's standard rates.
    2. Payment must be made in cash or by approved negotiable instruments (such as traveler's checks, vouchers, credit cards) at the front desk cashier upon arrival, when requesting a stay extension, or when requested by the hotel.
    3. If payment is not settled, registration, services, or stay extensions will not be accepted.
    4. Once the hotel has provided and made the room available, accommodation charges will be collected even if the guest voluntarily does not stay.
    5. If the stay plan includes meals or other services and the guest voluntarily does not consume or use them, the charges for those items will still be collected.
  13. (Hotel liability):

    1. If the hotel, in fulfilling (or failing to fulfill) the accommodation contract or related agreements, causes damage to the guest, the hotel shall compensate for such damage. However, this does not apply when the damage is not due to a fault of the hotel.
    2. The hotel is enrolled in a lodging liability insurance policy to cover damages such as those from fire.
  14. (When the Contracted Room Cannot Be Provided):

    1. If the Hotel is unable to provide the Guest with the contracted room, the Hotel shall, with the consent of the Guest, endeavor to arrange alternative accommodation under the same or similar conditions.
    2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, if the Hotel cannot arrange alternative accommodation, it shall pay the Guest compensation equivalent to the cancellation fee, which shall be applied to damages. However, if the inability to provide a room is not attributable to the Hotel, no compensation shall be paid.
  15. (Handling of Deposited Articles):

    1. During their stay, Guests are requested to deposit cash and valuables in the front desk safe. If this is not done, the Hotel shall not be liable for loss, damage, or theft of such items.
    2. For cash and valuables deposited at the front desk, the Hotel shall compensate for any loss or damage caused, provided such loss or damage is due to intent or negligence by the Hotel. However, unless the Guest has clearly declared the type and value in advance, compensation for cash and valuables shall be limited to 150,000 yen.
    3. For cash and valuables brought into the Hotel but not deposited at the front desk, the Hotel shall compensate for any loss or damage resulting from intent or negligence on the part of the Hotel. However, unless the Guest has declared the type and value in advance, compensation shall be limited to 150,000 yen, except in cases of intent or gross negligence by the Hotel.
  16. (Custody of Guest's Baggage and Belongings):

    1. If the Guest's baggage arrives at the Hotel prior to their stay, the Hotel shall only be liable for its safekeeping if prior approval has been given, and the baggage shall be handed over to the Guest upon check-in.
    2. If baggage or personal belongings are left behind after check-out, and the owner can be identified, the Hotel shall contact the owner and seek instructions. If no instructions are given or the owner cannot be identified, the Hotel shall store the items for a certain period, after which they will be handled in accordance with the Lost Property Act.
    3. The Hotel's responsibility for the safekeeping of baggage or personal belongings under the preceding two paragraphs shall be governed by paragraph 2 of the preceding Article in the case of the first paragraph, and by paragraph 3 of the preceding Article in the case of the second paragraph.
  17. (Parking Liability):

When Guests use the Hotel's parking facilities, regardless of whether the vehicle key has been deposited, the Hotel merely provides the space and assumes no responsibility for management of the vehicle. However, if damage is caused by intent or negligence in managing the parking facilities, the Hotel shall be liable for compensation.

  18. (Liability of the Guest):
